Trips to the hospital!:

War wounds

About 2 weeks ago, I was playing raquetball with my buddy Nick, when I got accidentally wacked in the face. To be honest, it actually didn't hurt that much, but when I looked down, I saw this little white thing fall out of my mouth.


As you can see, my injured tooth is on sort of a prominant part of my mouth. =(	My camera isn't good at close up shots.

My lip swelled to several times its normal size, ugh.	Hmm, so if i put this under my pillow, would the tooth fairy give me a quarter?

Oh yeah, I got a rugged smile now!	Hmm, it was really hard to get a shot of the back of the tooth.

Next day, I went to the dental clinic, but you had to make an appointment the day before. Doh!	Now, after many saimin meals, I'm off to see the dentist.

Ah, fresh out of surgery, I look pretty good.	Except for a little recoloring of the tooth, the grad student did a real good job.

Finally, back to me old self.	Arrr matey!

Aftermath:

All in all, I healed up quite good. I played raquetball with Nick 2 days later, and got smacked again. Argh!

After another trip to the hospital, they gave me a medical card. Maybe I can get frequent visitor points with it.

I've decided to take up a safer sport as I recover from my wounds. I start Judo next quarter.
